College Birmingham are looking for an outstanding individual to lead on the
planning, development and delivery of high quality food and nutrition
programmes.
The
successful candidate will join an excellent team working to deliver a
high-quality educational experience in the Department of Sport and Nutrition.
Based in the new Moss House Campus, which houses a commercial clinic, Human
Performance Centre and Laboratory, you will be able to further develop our
external links to maximise the vocational experiences of our students alongside
your excellent teaching.
You will
have experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and/or
substantial work experience within the field of food and nutrition alongside suitable
experience to deliver specialist modules that translate theory into practice in
this field to make a significant impact on the career aspirations of our
students. Furthermore, you will have the ability to lead or support delivery
across a range of modules which are underpinned by food and nutrition e.g., food
science, food manufacture and public health and nutrition.
The successful applicant
will also have up-to-date industry knowledge which will be utilised to deliver
interactive, innovative, engaging and motivational lessons to our students. 50 days’ paid leave per year (38 days’ annual leave plus 12 bank holiday and concessionary days)
