University College Birmingham is
expanding into new and diverse qualifications, therefore UCB Library is
recruiting a Senior Digital Librarian to be at the forefront of our resource
expansion.
This role will suit a candidate
with strong digital skills, who is passionate about the important role
libraries play in the contemporary educational environment. It is well-suited
for somebody eager to expand their range of experience across multiple areas of
librarianship as well as providing an exposure to higher level management and
decision making.
UCB Library sits within the expanding and
successful Learning Services department, a key part of the 2022 Whatuni Student
Support award. You will join an excellent team of librarians and assistants,
working to deliver a high-quality educational experience for our diverse student
base who study on-campus and/or online, providing them with cutting-edge books,
journals and learning resources. Closing Date - Friday 21 April 2023 at midday. 38 days’ paid leave per year (26 days’ annual leave plus 12 bank holiday and concessionary days)
