A272 Lecturer in Hairdressing (FE) £32,348 - £39,745 per annum Permanent, Full-time 02-12-2022 12 Midday Academic

The Department of Creative Services at University College Birmingham is looking to recruit a candidate with exceptional practical Hairdressing experience, complemented by a background in teaching/training/coaching, to join our team as a Lecturer in Hairdressing; teaching across a range of Further Education programmes up to level 3.

Essential requirements for this role include:

  • Exceptional practical experience as a Hairdresser

  • Knowledge of the Creative Services industry to apply to Learning and Teaching

  • Relevant teaching/training/coaching experience

  • Qualification in a relevant discipline

Please indicate within your application, experience within the following subject areas:

  • Advanced Cutting and Styling

  • Colouring and Colour correction

  • Hair Up, Bridal Hair styling
