Based in the heart of England’s second city, the Business School at University College Birmingham is a centre of excellence for practice-focused higher education, producing skilled graduates who will help shape the future diverse industries including aviation, tourism, finance and retail. Receiving Silver in the 2023 ‘University of the Year’ and winner of the International category Whatuni Student Choice Awards, the University specialises in vocational courses in both the higher education and further education sectors and continues to grow its portfolio of apprenticeships. To ensure your teaching is exciting and relevant, you will combine a good understanding of current scholarship in your area of specialism with an appreciation of contemporary business practice, gained through some personal experience in industry. Your industry insights will be the cornerstone in our drive for cutting-edge, interactive, and engaging lessons. University College Birmingham is renowned for its supportive culture, so your confidence in the classroom should be matched by your encouragement of our students’ ambitions. As a Senior Lecturer, you will also demonstrate experience of managing business curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
