at University College Birmingham is a centre of excellence for practice-focused
higher education, producing skilled graduates who will help shape the future
diverse industries including aviation, tourism, finance and retail. Receiving
Silver in the 2023 ‘University of the Year’ and winner of the International

vocational courses in both the higher education and further education sectors

undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses are accredited and awarded by the

Under the leadership of our new Executive Dean, we are looking for
outstanding, teaching-focused academic colleagues who can contribute their
expertise in various areas of the School. Subjects of particular interest
include -
· Business Data Analytics
· Entrepreneurship and Innovation
· Human Resource Management and Leadership
· Operations and Supply Chain
Management
We also welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates
who can contribute excellent, practice-informed teaching to any of the School’s
areas of interest.
To
ensure your teaching is exciting and relevant, you will combine a good
understanding of current scholarship in your area of specialism with an
appreciation of contemporary business practice, gained through some personal
experience in industry. Your industry insights will be the cornerstone in our
drive for cutting-edge, interactive, and engaging lessons. University College
Birmingham is renowned for its supportive culture, so your confidence in the
classroom should be matched by your encouragement of our students’ ambitions.
As a Senior Lecturer, you will also demonstrate experience of managing business
curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
We
