The University is at an exciting time of its development. Our staff are highly engaged, have been at the heart of our success over a very long period. An important period of change is upon the sector and the University must adapt accordingly.

It is key to the above exciting changes for our human resources to be aligned to these new challenges. Our staff have need supported in ensuring of their talent, skills and knowledge fit a model that takes account of the changes ahead. The health and wellbeing of our staff must continue to be supported and is also of key importance to the University.

This is not an operational HR post. Whilst understanding of policy, procedure, legislation and HR best employment practice are key attributes and important factors in assessing your suitability for managing the HR team, more important is your ability to strategically support and lead senior colleagues through a prolonged period of transformational organisational change, ensuring strong engagement with staff in delivering the change needed through modern and innovative approaches.
