UCB are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to manage our University IT services. 

The successful candidate will strengthen existing services in addition to implementing innovative information technologies to support our students and staff.

You will have proven technical expertise and provide strategic leadership, planning, and management in all of our areas of information technology utilisation. 

You will have the ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team of IT staff; demonstrating excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a flexible, initiative-taking approach to work.

Management experience of IT Infrastructure and services is expected, and you will be proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.

You will have project management experience, and a working knowledge of CISCO network hardware; ECM; NetApp storage; Virtualization; client/server technology; and Internet/intranets.

You will demonstrate a working knowledge of network administration and installation and will be confident in the ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP and network supporting VOIP telephony.

You will have previous experience within Microsoft Windows/Server environments, including MS-SQL and Microsoft Exchange, Internet Information Server, firewalls and other applications.
