University College Birmingham is committed to growing and developing our apprenticeship provision, and have a vacancy for an Apprenticeship Services Team Leader.
This key role will be responsible for guiding a small team to achieve operational objectives in line with UCB’s apprenticeship strategy. The successful candidate will ensure collaborative working with direct colleagues and across the University’s two academic Schools, to achieve funding agency compliance throughout the employer and apprenticeship journey.
Previous experience in an apprenticeship-related role is required, enhanced by experience of leading a team, delivering agreed targets and objectives, and building productive professional relationships with a range of stakeholders. This will be supported by sound communication and organisation skills, and the ability to use the IT tools and systems available to ensure the effective running of the service.
It is expected that the successful candidate will demonstrate a record of relevant professional development and solid knowledge of apprenticeship funding and ESFA compliance requirements.
